My dad and I just had this conversation. David Tennant is apparently now and forever The Real Doctor (tm) in his eyes. Matt Smith is but a pretender, a pale imitation (and yes, those are his exact words).
I disagree with him, but I love how fannishness is pretty much my family legacy.
